Elmwood
Park Zoo’s two giraffes use their long black tongues to draw offerings of
romaine lettuce into their mouths. And they seem single-purposed enough to
hardly notice getting oohed and aahed and affectionately stroked by the dozens
of visitors who are feeding them.
