Batik artist brings Bali to Philly: Crafts, Music, Dance for 2 weeks in Chestnut Hill


Batik artist Laura Cohn traveled to Indonesia as a visitor in 1988, fell in love with the country, its crafts and culture and ended up living there 6 years. She now hosts yearly shows featuring her work and Indonesian crafts which help benefit non-profits providing relief from recent natural disasters. Her website is
